1. Your Right to Limit
Under the Colorado Privacy Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to direct Debrosland, LLC to limit the use of your "Sensitive Personal Information" to only those uses which are necessary to perform the services reasonably expected by an average consumer.
2. Sensitive Information Collected
To facilitate your property search and purchase, we collect the following sensitive data:
a) Precise Geolocation: We collect data that allows us to locate you within a radius of 1,750 feet to enable "near me" property scouting and mapping features.
b) Financial Account Information: We collect payment details strictly to process earnest money deposits and final land sales through our secure third-party processors.
3. How We Use and Restrict This Information
We use this data to provide the specific services you request. However, you have the right to restrict us from using this sensitive data for secondary purposes, such as:
a) Building a marketing profile based on your physical location history.
b) Sharing your precise location with our affiliated land-owning LLCs for non-essential marketing research.
4. How to Exercise Your Right to Limit
You may exercise this right through the following methods without being required to create an account:
a) Interactive Request: [LIMIT THE USE OF MY SENSITIVE INFORMATION] (Clicking this button will immediately restrict our systems from using your precise location for anything other than active property scouting).
b) Global Privacy Control (GPC): If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will automatically limit the use of your sensitive personal information for that session.
c) Direct Request: Email howdy@debrosland.com (Subject: Limit Sensitive Data Use) or call (970) 829-8580.
5. Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate or penalize you for exercising your right to limit the use of your sensitive personal information. Please note that if you limit geolocation data, certain features—such as the "Find Land Near My Current Location" tool—may require you to manually enter a ZIP code or city to function.
